It is called Jakmel Ekspresyon (JE). The youth of JE take you on the journey of how we built this creative community space and their dreams for the future. The philosophy we have created is becoming a movement, as the former students are now leading and founding new creative community spaces across Haiti. Bibliography Jakmel Ekspresyon is a youth forward continuing education center that blends creativity, science, technology and culture. The Center was founded in May 2010 as an art center and a space of non-discrimination. The Haitian youth, guiding the organization and its curriculum, have developed the Center into a a more robust learning center to fill the holes in the local educational system as well as develop new job markets through creativity.
