Post Disaster is a multidisciplinary collective whose practice intersects spatial, performative, and curatorial actions. Their research moves from the metaphor of disaster, understood as a territorial lens through which to investigate global tensions and dynamics. Their work has been exhibited in both institutional and independent art and cultural spaces and platforms, including the Venice Biennale, MAXXI Museum, Triennale Milano, Malta Biennale, and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
Since 2018, they have been developing Post Disaster Rooftops, a long-term critical and spatial practice set upon the rooftops of Taranto— a city that stands as a manifesto of contemporary urban and ecological crises. Through the lens of the city, the project nurtures a collective practice exploring the relationships between bodies and productive infrastructures within a broader Mediterranean context.
Leocifero is a writer and illustrator born between the ravines and Taranto’s industrial area. His work swings between bitter romance and acidic satire. He is a member of Gambe di Mazinga, an organization active in social work and environmental struggle, based in Statte, Taranto. Personal data
