rubber, ribbon, pencil, ink, leather on paper. Subject/Description
Exploring his African traditions and ancient myths through a series of embroideries, he reveals a strong sense of identity and a signature style. His work is contained in the hardcover format as he sews along the whole notebook with woven ribbons, letting a rubber sculpture emerge from the pages. Working with long hand-sewed fabrics, the artist addresses the complexities of Mother Earth. Archival Fund
